No, the exclamation point, '!', in front of the filename is nothing
worth getting overly excited about. It just allows sorters to do their
thing and list it first, usually... I'll keep this short, so there's
no excuse not to read this:

I'm officially retired from freeware programming. There, I've
finally said it. <sigh> No more maybe's, if's, etc. Expect no
future updates, and expect no new freeware offerings, at least not
from me. Expect no support, or handholding. A final "thank-you"
note, though, would be appreciated. You never sent one when you
began using the program, remember? Nothing marked "postage-due"
though. I expect this retirement to dry up my last remaining funds.
No, I'm not going shareware or commercial, I'm just getting on in
years, and programming is just not fun anymore. At least not for me,
for a young one, it might appear different.

I'll keep the source code around for 31 days after this is released,
same as the date below. If anyone seriously wants it, make a serious
offer. But there's no hurry. Most of my source is in Modula-2, no
assembly required (tho' some may be mixed in, I forget, remember my
age?). What pun? What you get is the source for all freeware
offerings in the IBMSYS Forum of CompuServe. Search all libraries
there for the keyword "RTK". It's a package deal, not to make it
attractive, but because it would take too much additional effort on
my part to try and separate things out. Many routines are shared
across several programs. Even if I do receive a few or several
offers, I still make no promises. The sources may still disappear
after 31 days, beyond even my own reach... I don't promise you'll
understand the source. I don't much anymore.
Then again, I'm not a financial wizard (remember, "freeware"?), so I
may jump at the first offer I see. I keep deleting files at my new
part-time job without knowing why. Well, I'm still trying to get the
hang of this new-fangled Windows program at work. I guess I take a
copy home with me and practice here...
Oh, this tiny document, supersedes anything else written anywhere
else included in this archive. An almost unchanged "manual" is
included for completeness.
As usual, I haven't run this document throught any grammar, spelling,
or style checkers, so this much hasn't changed. Did I forget to
<grin> anywhere?
My new passions? Cable TV, and <blush>, girls... Cable TV can sure
get expensive!
Bye,
Raymond

P.S. Just when you think you're done, things change on you again. I
logged on to upload the new "release" and find the "IBMSYS" forum has
just changed its name to "PCUTIL". But "GO IBMSYS" still works for
now.
